What is Droskyn Lookout Wellness Centre?
Droskyn Lookout is a unique wellness centre offering a rejuvenating experience with our state-of-the-art ice baths, hot tub, and sauna. Our goal is to provide a space for relaxation, recovery, and holistic well-being, all while overlooking the beautiful coastline of Perranporth.
Where is Droskyn Lookout Located?
Droskyn Lookout is located on the coast path, next to the cliffs of Droskyn Point in the newly revived YHA building.

Is there parking?
The closest parking is a short walk away at Droskyn Car Park – free from 1st November- 31st March.
What are the Opening Times?
The opening times are 9am – Sunset everyday.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we highly recommend booking your session in advance to ensure availability, as we have limited capacity for each time slot. You can easily book online through our website.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring a swimsuit or suitable swimwear, and a towel. We also recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated. We have a water refill station on site and towel hire is available for £2.
Is there a minimum age to use the facilities?
Participants must be 18 years or older to use our facilities.
Can I get gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available for in-person collection at the Lookout!
Can I book the centre privately?
Yes we accommodate private bookings, please check out the Packages page.
What are the benefits of an ice bath?
Ice baths, or cold water immersion, are known to reduce muscle soreness and inflammation, improve circulation, boost the immune system, and enhance mental resilience. The shock of the cold water releases endorphins, leaving you feeling invigorated and mentally refreshed.
How long should I stay in the ice bath?
We recommend starting with a short duration of 1-3 minutes and gradually increasing your time as you become more comfortable. Listen to your body and never push yourself too far. Our staff are on hand to offer guidance and support.
What is the temperature of the ice baths?
Our ice baths are maintained at a temperature of approximately 2-5°C (35-41°F) to ensure maximum therapeutic benefits.
